    First World War Medal 1914-1918 – Solid Silver Service Medal Named to 46002 PTE F.D. Read North N.R.

    This authentic  War Medal 1914–1918 is a genuine First World War service medal, struck in solid silver and issued under the reign of King George V. It was awarded to Private F. D. Read of the Northumberland Regiment (North N.R.), whose service number 46002 is engraved around the medal’s edge.

    This medal formed part of the campaign awards given to all members of the British and Imperial forces who served between 1914 and 1918. It remains one of the most recognisable and symbolic awards of the Great War, representing bravery, endurance, and the immense human effort of those who served.
