Shop and Online Sales Returns Policy

  1. Non-Refundable Situations: Antiques and Homes are unable to issue refunds in the following situations:
    • The item was known to be faulty, worn as described, or not working at the time of purchase.
    • The label, maker’s marks, or any identifying features adding provenance to an item have been removed.
    • The item has been damaged due to attempts to repair it or by someone else trying to repair it.
    • You no longer want the item (e.g., because it’s the wrong size or colour), unless you bought it without seeing it (i.e., online). In this case, you are entitled to a refund of the purchase price only (excluding shipping/packing costs). See section 2 below for details.
  2. Online, Mail, and Phone Order Sales:
    • Customers who purchase from us via online or telephone orders have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of the invoice date (whether payment has been made or not), even if the goods are not faulty.
    • Antiques and Homes will issue a refund if you notify us within 14 days of receiving your goods that you wish to cancel. You then have another 14 days to return the goods to us.
    • Please note, it is your responsibility to arrange and pay for the return of the item if it is not faulty. If the item purchased is faulty (other than as described at the time of sale), Antiques and Homes will reimburse any costs involved.
    • We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back in the condition they were purchased in. Refer to section 1 above for non-refundable situations.
    • Our refund will cover the cost of the item only and does not include packing/delivery costs incurred to send the item to you.
    • Refunds will be processed using your original payment method.
    • Antiques and Homes do not offer a ‘buy back’ service for items purchased from us.
    • Customers should check with their local authorities regarding any customs and import taxes that may apply. Any additional customs and tax payments are the responsibility of the buyer.
    • Antiques and Homes are not responsible for delays due to customs.
  3. Items Returned by Someone Other Than the Buyer:
    • Antiques and Homes only accept returns from the person who bought the item.
  4. Items Damaged in Transit:
    • Delivery is arranged on behalf of the customer and includes the option to insure the item during transit to the delivery address via a third-party delivery company.
